About Sonny
I am a current postgraduate student located in Dublin, pursuing an M.Sc. qualification in Economics from Trinity College. I have many years experience as a student and a worker in economic theory, econometrics, quantitative methods, Stata, and I performed strongly in my undergraduate degree, achieving first-class honours results in economics and econometrics from Trinity.
Economics can be a daunting subject to approach as a beginner, but I believe that with proper instruction and emphasis on the intuition underlying otherwise dense concepts, it can be fully grasped at an academically rigorous level by any willing to devote a bit of time to it.

I prefer to teach with a focus on back-and-forth interaction with tutees, rather than a lecture format, as economics can be a confusing subject for early learners it is of paramount importance that the intuition behind concepts be established early on.
I teach in hourly and half-hourly lessons, though preferably the longer format, so that information may be covered in greater depth.
I have previous experience in teaching the social sciences going back to my secondary school years, and as I am currently pursuing a higher degree in economics I have full grasp over the concepts covered at the secondary school level.
My lessons are intended primarily for secondary school students, thoughI may also provide tutoring for undergraduates if desired. However, the added complexity and variance of course structure between undergraduate programmes makes tutoring to this level group a greater challenge.
