About Jayla
In high school, my instructor inspired me with the passion for reading and literature; my interest developed greatly and I took college English courses while I was still in high school, advancing my knowledge. Classes I took during high school such as AP Literature and AP English and Composition influenced my interest in growing skills in the English language that is universally applicable to the real world, fostering independence, self-esteem & academic growth.

I enjoy engaging students and peer's through interactive coursework involving collaborations on ideas & brainstorming to spark the enjoyment of reading and the English language building skills that will be beneficial and applies in the real world; my lessons would be most beneficial to middle school and high school students who need assistance in English Arts. Using real life scenarios and applying it to courseworks allows students to feel independent and capable of being successful at growing their skills in English fostering an environment where they are interested and want to learn more.
