About Lucy
I am a 20-year-old university student who would love to help GCSE and A-Level students to achieve their best. Having completed my A-Levels at 19, there are certain aspects of education that have become apparent to me. I had to repeat my first year in college after realising my initial subject choices were not what I wanted to do. This had me feeling like I was behind in life and that I must not be capable. Persevering despite these thoughts has made me realise that I am in fact capable, it just took me a while longer, which is okay! I learn at a different pace to others, as I now know a lot of other people do and it is nothing to be ashamed of. As a tutor, I want to not only teach, but inspire others who may be feeling like I did that there is no shame in having a different way of learning and no such thing as being behind in life.

Everyone learns differently. As your tutor, I am committed to teaching in a way that feels catered towards you. I offer lessons ranging from 1-2 hours with 2-3 sessions per week. My lessons are mainly for GCSE students, but A-Level English Language and Ancient History students are also welcome.
