About Esme
My name is Esme Chen. I am 19, living in Sutton Coldfield, and I have a passion for preaching the importance of Literature and English studies. I know firsthand that as students, literature can be draining and boring and, quite frankly, difficult to grasp. I was the same with maths, I know how it feels! However, I know I can help you understand and make Literature fun. I have been through tuition (for maths), and I understand how nerve-racking and time-consuming it can be. I promise that I can make English as fun and interesting as possible, which is half the battle. Whether it be Shakespeare or the pesky GCSE English language 12 markers, I am sure I can help!

I am happy to provide tuition for English Literature at both GCSE and A-level. After studying both and now doing my degree in literature at the University of Birmingham, which is consistently ranked in the top ten and top 15 schools in the country. I am also studying abroad in New York City after being offered a place for Literature and Film. I have experience with these academic experiences! I can help with confidence (for which I understand), understanding and memorisation techniques.
