About Syeda
As a future doctor, teaching and learning is also a great part of my journey and I believe I have the skills, empathy and patience needed to teach. I also believe that in order to actually teach, you need to be able to build a comfortable space for the student and plan effectively. My lessons are greatly based on the student. Once I use the first lesson to get to know and anylaze their weakness/strengths, I make a plan together to work towards goals. I teach them to understand, rather then to memorise. I make my students aware that the lessons are tailored to them, so if there is anything they want to change, they can let me know. Many students struggle with confidence, so it is important that we work with exam practise as well a self confidence. We learn the content and then use practice papers to use the knowledge we learnt.

Perfect! Syeda works with my son (aged 8) to provide additional maths support weekly over 2 hours. The support has been well structured (mapped to the school curriculum) but most importantly, the work has been engaging and has really helped to build my son’s confidence in maths. We are delighted to have found Syeda, so much so that we have now introduced a short session for my daughter (nearly 6) too.

Syeda tutored my daughter and I must say she’s excellent!
I had a really great experience being tutored by Syeda, I found that her teaching was clear and personal. She spent much time and effort ensuring I understood the content ready for exams, and was extremely patient and kind.

Syeda is a very professional and skilled tutor she tutored my daughter throughout her exam. She is well trained in working with children who have special educational needs (SEN) and was able to tailor lessons accordingly. My daughter enjoyed the lessons very much and she made big improvements in school

Syeda Tutored me through my GCSEs and A-Levels, she was extremely efficient with her lesson plans and her way of explaining is what I loved most.
