About Sophia
Hi! I'm Sophia and I am a CVICU RN at Abington Hospital. I've worked on my unit for 5 years now and have formed a strong foundation of ICU nursing as well as managing my unit as charge nurse. I've oriented many new nurses and have directly precepted senior nursing students for their Capstone project.

My teaching method focuses on solidifying fundamentals to provide a strong framework for higher-level concepts. I enjoy bringing humor and lightheartedness into learning, especially when trying to come up with an unforgettable pneumonic.
Typical lesson plans are structured as read, reread, review.
What sets me apart from other tutors is that I offer an approachable space where there truly are no silly questions. Every question is worth asking- and who knows, maybe we can learn something together!
My lessons are for entry level undergraduate nursing school students or those looking to review nursing concepts prior to NCLEX examination. I also offer specific course work in undergraduate Biology and A&P.
