About Somnath

Hi, I’m Somnath Banerjee — a Data Science & Business Intelligence professional with hands-on experience in analytics, consulting, and teaching. I've worked with top firms like EY, PwC, and Fractal Analytics, and I hold an MSc in Data Science from Liverpool John Moores University, with additional credentials in BI tools, machine learning, and cloud technologies. Over the years, I've had the privilege of mentoring and teaching students, MBA graduates, and working professionals from across the globe — including India, the US, UK, and Singapore. Whether it's helping high school students excel in Math, or guiding professionals through Excel, Python, SQL, Power BI, Machine Learning, and Alteryx, I bring a practical, empathetic, and structured teaching approach. My focus is not just on completing a syllabus — but on empowering you to think critically, solve real problems, and grow with confidence. I make technical topics feel accessible and engaging, whether you're preparing for exams, job interviews, or simply upskilling for your career. Let’s make your learning journey productive, personalized, and impactful.

About the lesson

Whether you're a student aiming to ace high school Math, an MBA grad trying to make sense of analytics, or a working professional transitioning into Data Science — this class is designed with you in mind.

I bring real-world experience as a Data Science and Business Intelligence professional, combined with a passion for teaching and mentoring learners across all levels.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring and supporting students, MBA graduates, and working professionals from India, the US, UK, Singapore, and several other countries — helping them build confidence, upskill, and achieve tangible career outcomes.

For High School Students:
I simplify complex Math concepts — from algebra to calculus — using logic, visuals, and structured techniques. My goal is not just exam success but true understanding and love for numbers.

For Data & BI Learners:
I offer hands-on, practical learning in:
• Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Machine Learning
• Data storytelling, dashboards, and case studies
• Alteryx, Knime, ETL pipelines, and data modeling
• Career coaching, project guidance, and interview prep

What makes my method different?
Concept-first, tool-second approach
Personalised sessions tailored to your pace and background
Real-world projects + mock interviews
Global mentoring experience — from high schoolers to senior analysts

If you're ready to turn confusion into clarity, and theory into action — let’s get started.
