About Parastoo
Data Science graduate from the Queen Mary University of London, with four years of experience in teaching Python, Java, C++, Algorithms, Machine Learning and AI and Math.
I have a first-class BSc degree in Computer Science. During my undergraduate studies, I was selected as the top student in the class (GPA 3.87), and I had the opportunity to be a teacher assistant for core modules such as `Introduction to programming`, `Advanced Programming`, `Algorithms`, `Machine Learning and `AI`.
In 2018 and 2019, I was selected as the university representative for ACM_ICPC algorithmic programming competition. In 2019, my team was ranked 8th on the Tehran site. I was also an NLP research assistant at SBU NLP Lab for two years.
I came to England in 2021 to continue my studies in Data Science at Queen Mary. My interest in teaching has led me to teach as an extracurricular activity for the past five years.
I had 4 years of teaching experience in classes with 1 to 50 students. In addition to face-to-face teaching, I also have 2 years of online teaching experience.
I have been teaching Python, Java, C++, Algorithms, Machine Learning, Data Science and Math.
I have an IELTS score of 8 and I have one year of experience in teaching English to children to young students.

In my classes, I first assess my students` knowledge of the topic at hand and will plan a specific program for him. We learn the concepts step by step from basic to advanced. In our learning journey, exercises and projects designed for each person will help us fully learn all concepts.
In my `Algorithm and Data Structure` classes, I introduce you to basic to advanced algorithms, their implementation and solving various algorithmic problems designed by myself and available in code forces.
In my programming training classes, depending on the individual level, we first get acquainted with programming and data structure concepts and try to learn 0 to 100 of the chosen programming language. For beginners, we suggest learning Python or C.
In machine learning and Data Science, Mathematics and statistics play a major role. I believe one of the weaknesses of many of the existing ML courses is the lack of sufficient attention to these two modules. We will focus a lot on learning math and statistics, as well as ML concepts.
In all classes, many exercise problems, programming lectures and PDF notes have been included to provide you with a great learning experience!
