About Alec
I've always enjoyed the moment when a complex idea suddenly clicks for someone — whenever mentoring or coaching colleagues through tricky business problems. Tutoring lets me do more of that. I'm patient, structured, and genuinely curious about how people learn, and I want to help students build the confidence to tackle business concepts on their own terms.

I combine an MBA with Distinction from Warwick Business School and a First Class Law degree with over a decade of real leadership experience and director-level roles in industry. I don't just teach business theory; I show you how it actually plays out in boardrooms and on factory floors. Lessons are practical, structured, and built around exam technique, but I'll always connect the syllabus to real examples so concepts stick and you can write answers that stand out.

Perfect! Alec helped my daughter to pass get first year at uni with excellent tuition and in depth subject matter expertise. He was also very flexible on timing. Thanks very much
- Good session. Felt like we made progress on basic concepts and the detail that can trip you up. The spreadsheet Isla needs to use has been designed to trip you up in my opinion. So you need to be fairly solid on both the detail and core issues to avoid this!Alec's response :
