About Demetra
Calculators were once my greatest enemy during my early university lectures. Today, I enjoy helping university freshmen and career switchers build confidence in finance and understand concepts that may initially seem intimidating.
Over the years, I have helped students navigate capital budgeting, CFA foundations, risk and return, Excel for finance, time value of money, DCF valuation, and ratio analysis. Working with 199 students over the past 13 years has taught me that clarity beats complexity every time.
For me, the most rewarding part of teaching is seeing that moment when a student finally understands a difficult concept or valuation model. Watching confusion turn into confidence reminds me why I enjoy helping others learn and develop their financial skills.
