I have been giving private lessons for about 3 years now. I have been teaching online and in person as well which has helped me gain valuable experience in terms of how to deal with different students in order to get the best out of them. I try to build a friendly relationship with the student so that they feel comfortable asking me questions whenever they find something difficult. I spend more time in areas where I have previously found the majority of students to be making mistakes in exams. This helps the student to have a strong grasp of complex concepts and go through them easily when they sit for the exam. Furthermore, my aim is to fully equip the students with essential learning techniques such as backchecking, talking aloud etc. because that is as important as knowing how to solve the question.
