About Sydney
I am a dedicated tutor and mother with a passion for literacy and education. My experience as both an undergraduate and graduate student has given me a strong appreciation for the hard work, patience, and persistence required for academic success. I enjoy helping students develop their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills through engaging, personalized lessons that build confidence and foster a love of learning.

As a tutor, I cater my lesson plans to the student's needs. A typical lesson plan may include the following: check-in, previous reading/writing assignment review, reading out loud, sentence-building practice, analyzing text, feedback and wrap-up.
My passion for learning makes sessions easygoing and productive with both parties feeding off each other's energy. Positive results are seen in as little as 10 sessions.
Lessons are for elementary through high school students.
