About Chang
Chinese (Mandarin) has been my core strength since primary level, consistently earning me A’s in national exams (PSLE, GCE 'N', and 'O' Levels), as well as distinctions in Chinese oral exams for both GCE 'N' and 'O' levels.
As a former International School teacher, I bring professional expertise to my friendly and relaxed tutoring sessions. I focus on creating a comfortable space where both students and adults feel confident to practice, helping you/your child reach your/their language goals through a personalized and supportive approach.
For Parents:
I am passionate about making Chinese engaging for children. I focus on building a strong foundation in both written work and oral confidence. It is a privilege to support a child’s growth and see them move from hesitation to fluency.
I view tutoring as my career, instead of just a side job. :)
For Adult Learners:
With a background in Pharmaceutical Sciences and professional training, I offer a structured, analytical approach to language learning. Whether you are learning for career advancement or personal enrichment, I provide personalized strategies to help you master Mandarin efficiently.
I view tutoring as my career, not just a side job. This means you can expect long-term commitment, regular progress updates, and a dedicated partner in your (or your child's) learning journey.

My teaching approach is patient and highly personalised.
For students, I closely monitor school syllabi to ensure he/she stay ahead or quickly catch up with their school teacher's progress (mastering MOE syllabus requirements) through topical drills and oral practice to ensure confidence.
For adults, I prioritise conversational fluency and professional vocabulary using an analytical, efficient method tailored to your pace and goals.
You can expect long-term commitment & regular progress updates provided.
