About Makenzie

I bring over five years of professional teaching experience to my tutoring sessions. Highlights of my experience include • 200+ hours of independent classroom teaching and an Associates Degree in Arts and Sciences• Teaching across a variety of educational settings as part of my academic training, where I adapted quickly to diverse classrooms. • Teaching in after-school tutoring programs, where I helped students achieve academic success in focused, small group or independent settings. As well as regularly tutoring students- both in person and online- across a range of subjects. I also have specialized experience working with students with special needs, including those with intellectual, learning, and developmental disabilities, as well as physical disabilities and behavioral disorders.
