As an art and design tutor, my teaching approach is centered on fostering creativity and confidence in my students. With a degree in Illustration, I specialize in figure drawing, life drawing, cartooning, and fashion illustration, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and techniques tailored to each student's unique needs and goals. My lessons are interactive and hands-on, focusing on both traditional and digital art forms.
Teaching Method and Techniques:
I employ a mix of demonstration, practice, and constructive feedback. My techniques cover essential aspects of figure drawing, life drawing, cartooning, and fashion illustration. I emphasize understanding fundamental principles while encouraging experimentation and personal expression.
Typical Lesson Plan:
A typical lesson begins with a brief discussion to understand the student's current skills and objectives. We then proceed with a warm-up exercise to loosen up creativity. The main part of the lesson involves a guided project or skill practice, where I provide step-by-step instructions and support. We conclude with a review and constructive feedback to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
