About Pau
I just completed my PhD at the University of Edinburgh, and now that I have more free time I have once again fallen in love with StarCraft II. I reached the Platinum league as a macro-style random player after a year or so of playing, and now my goal is to reach Master's league with Zerg. So, I believe I can help any beginner or lower-league player regardless of their race.
When I got started, I followed a learning method called "the staircase", which focuses on the power of macro and mechanics, and those aspects of the game have remained in my focus ever since.

I love to discuss and teach friends about the game. I know that StarCraft is a daunting one, especially for those not used to real time strategy games, but I want to show you that it is worth it. With me, you will be able to see how far good macro and mechanics can bring you. Once you feel on top of the game in this sense, you can focus more on strategy. In this way, I believe a lot of frustration and ladder anxiety can be avoided, since the game no longer feels like "rock paper scissors" but like an intense and fun battle of speed and multitasking.
Adapting to your needs, I can analyse your replays, give you commentary while I watch you play, or play with/against you.
