I have been both a student peer of Lou’s and taught by her (music theory), and in both experiences she has proven to be compassionate, non-judgemental and kind. She is a very competent person whom I trust anyway, but Lou is also excellent at making anyone feel at ease as soon as she meets them. You feel seen and heard by Lou, as her primary aims are to understand and adapt to each person she is with to ensure they feel comfortable and safe.
