About Wojciech
I am a passionate chess player with a FIDE rating around 2000 and an online rating around 2400. I’ve been playing and studying chess for 8 years, and I love helping beginners and intermediate players discover the beauty and strategy of the game. I enjoy creating a friendly, encouraging environment where students feel confident to ask questions and explore new ideas. For me, chess isn’t just about moves and tactics — it’s about thinking creatively, improving steadily, and the most important - enjoying the process of learning.

During our lessons, we’ll focus on understanding rather than memorising. You’ll learn the key opening principles, tactical patterns, and middle-game ideas that will help you to play confidently in any position. We’ll also look at simple endgames and practical ways to analyse your own games, so you can keep improving between sessions. All lessons are held online via Zoom, Lichess, or Chess.com, with an interactive board so we can explore positions and play together in real time. My approach is patient, friendly, and tailored to your level and goals, ensuring that each lesson is both productive and enjoyable.
