Tutoring Approach and Methodology
As a tutor, I focus on creating a personalized learning experience that caters to the unique needs of each student. My teaching methodology involves the following key techniques:
Interactive Learning: Engaging students through interactive lessons, discussions, and problem-solving activities to ensure they actively participate and grasp the concepts effectively.
Conceptual Understanding: Emphasizing a strong foundation in core concepts before moving on to advanced topics, ensuring that students have a thorough understanding of the subject matter.
Real-World Applications: Connecting theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios to make learning relevant and interesting.
Regular Assessments: Conducting periodic assessments and providing constructive feedback to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Customized Study Plans: Tailoring lesson plans to fit the student's learning pace, strengths, and weaknesses.
Typical Lesson Length:
A typical lesson lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student's needs and attention span. This duration ensures that we cover the material comprehensively while keeping the student engaged.
I hold a 1st class honours from the university of the Sunshine Coast and have 2 years of experience as a profession tutor, and 6 as a private tutor. My lessons are custom designed depending on the age of the student. I accept student aged 16 and over.
