About NJEH
I am an International Doctoral student at the Auckland University of Technology. My first and second degrees are in Law, with a Diploma in Mass Communication, along the line. English language is central to everything that I do. Becoming a mom opened my eyes to the real struggles that some people encounter in their academic journeys. The joy and satisfaction that come with achieving academic and social goals with improved English language skills is my number one motivation for tutoring.

Every individual has a different approach to learning. My teaching methods are tailored to meet the different needs of my students. My style helps to build confidence, foster independence, while having fun. Noticeable results can be seen within three weeks of first contact. My methods were helpful with all of my four kids, with amazing results in improved vocabulary, reading, spelling, and speaking. I have also helped to coach students for IELTS General, having obtained an overall 8.0 score when I sat the exam in 2019. Being a lawyer and a good one at that requires amazing English language skills. This has helped me prepare briefs and other legal documents, while being a mom has given me the experience of tutoring younger children. A free tutoring lesson would start with a friendly chat, to determine the tailored approach for the prospective student. These friendly chats will tell me at what point the students are and what they would want to get from the experience. My methods are always about what is best to achieve great results within a good timeline.
