About Kuba

I’m a jazz drummer and graduate of Leeds College of Music. I developed my repertoire, sight-reading, and bandleading skills while performing on cruise ships before moving to London, where I’ve since played and recorded with a range of artists including Cameron Pierre, Alban Claret,Evan Clegg and Tommaso Starace, to name a just a few. Most recently, I recorded on "Ibuka" — the critically acclaimed album by one of the UK’s leading jazz voices, Ineza Kerschkamp — and I’m currently touring across the UK and Europe.

Learning jazz drumming as a complete beginner in my 40s felt genuinely intimidating, but Kuba made it feel accessible from day one.
He strikes the perfect balance between solid technical fundamentals and essential music theory, breaking down complex concepts so effectively that lessons never feel dry or overwhelming. His patience and structured approach completely took the fear out of playing; after just two months, I had built enough confidence and skill to start jamming with friends.
Kuba is an exceptional teacher who meets you exactly where you are, regardless of your age or background. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
