About Yanzhiyi

Hi, I'm Yanzhiyi. I come from Shanghai and I'm a native Mandarin speaker. I got a master's degree in English from Durham University and I am currently doing my PhD at the University of Edinburgh, so I have good English communicative skills. I've also tutored two people in English before, so I'm confident in my teaching ability.

About the lesson

No matter if you want to learn Mandarin to have small talks with Chinese-speakers, or if you do Mandarin at GCSE or A-level, I can tailor the lesson for your personal needs and give any help you want in listening, reading, writing or speaking.

Yanzhiyi is my friend and I can highly recommend her as a tutor. She is super friendly and her English is perfect. Even though she is not tutoring me, I am already picking up some mandarin from her!
