About Edna
I have recently completed my SCITT Early Years Teacher Training, June 2020, as well as being an Early Years teaching assistant for 3 years. After completing University I volunteered teaching English in Thailand for 2 months where I taught all ages of children beginning at day nursery all through to year 6!

My teaching approach is play through learning! Through play, children can learn so many elements and aspects of everyday life as well as academic skills without even realising they are learning.
Also mastery of skills. Teaching children new information is only the beginning of their learning, children having opportunities to relay and communicating what they have been taught through activities is mastering the skill and therefore so much more important and powerful through hands on experiences.
