About Jayson
Are you currently feeling overwhelmed by the complexities of AP economics? I work with many AP students and college applicants who want to find a better way to study graphs and FRQs. My background includes a BA Economics degree from Rice University.
After 5 years teaching AP economics, I focus on the student sitting right in front of me. I find that building a session around your specific needs is the best way to make progress.
We will cover core areas like SUPPLY AND DEMAND, GDP and inflation, and fiscal policy. My style is patient and step by step.
I also provide clear guidance on externalities, elasticity, and the money market. I keep things structured but flexible to ensure you grasp the concepts. It is helpful to stay calm as we work through these technical topics. That is why I try to keep the atmosphere kind and supportive.

Getting to a point where you feel truly confident in your FRQ technique is the main goal here. You might be struggling with a specific graph or a tricky concept, and that is exactly where we start.
I perform a short diagnostic in the 1st session to see where you stand. This allows us to build a repeatable approach for every question type you encounter.
We will walk through the logic of fiscal policy and the money market at a pace that clicks for you. The structure of our time together remains steady and consistent. This should make the harder material feel much more manageable as we go.
