I am a stay at home mom who has a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in History. I taught grades 2-4 for a year after college and then decided to stay home to be a mom. I have tutored students in language arts in the past and helped them achieve a higher level of reading and writing.

I like to make my lessons practical, hands on, and interesting. I believe that teaching is the best way to learn. After reviewing a topic with my student, I like to have them reteach it to me. This shows me that they understand and are ready to move on.
