I am a PhD student in Education. I am researching teacher education in Scotland. I also work in a primary school. I have done occasional tutoring during my undergraduate degree, and I help out my colleagues where I can! I enjoy working with other people and helping them learn new things

My teaching philosophy is based deeply in social constructivism. I believe that knowledge is created through working together and communicating in a range of ways. Sharing knowledge, in my approach, is not about there being an expert and a novice, but in combining our knowledge to learn new things. I don't use summative assessment, rather I’d like to hear from you what you think you have learned and how you can build on that knowledge.
