About Camilla
I have over 14 years of French education, with tutoring experience in both casual and professional settings. Throughout my studies, I have experimented with a variety of learning methods and developed the ability to adapt my teaching approach to different students and their individual needs.
I have consistently excelled in French, achieving a near-perfect score on my DELF B1 evaluation and receiving the “Excellence in French” award upon secondary school graduation.
Most importantly, I have developed a genuine love for the language of baguettes after overcoming the challenges of learning a second language myself. I hope to share that passion with my students by creating an encouraging learning environment where they can grow both academically and personally.

I am a firm believer in personalizing lessons to each individual student. My goal is to create a tutoring experience where students feel heard and understood by adapting lessons to their age, level, learning style, attention span, and personality.
A typical lesson may include reviewing previous material, introducing or explaining concepts in clear and easy-to-understand terms. I focus on establishing a strong foundation before moving on to more challenging material, while adjusting the pace and structure of each lesson to the student's needs.
Having experienced the feeling of being overwhelmed by difficult material myself, I understand how discouraging learning can sometimes feel. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
In addition to teaching French, I can help students develop effective long-term study and memorization habits using techniques such as active recall, efficient note-taking, and study games. My lessons are designed for beginner- to B1-level (intermediate) French learners, including children and high school students, whether they need help with reading, writing, grammar, conversation, or homework.
