About Julie
I am a dyslexia specialist and an NILD education therapist. I have been teaching and tutoring for over 15 years including online, in-person, elementary, undergraduate, graduate. I have worked with students in mathematics, English as a foreign language, reading, robotics, grammar, psychology. I have studied electrical engineering, computer science, political science, sociology, and psychology. I have an MS in Child and Adolescent Psychology and have completed all of the coursework for an MEd.

I work with students to help them embrace learning and overcome challenges. I have found that many students who struggle have to change their approach to and thought patterns regarding their studies and learning. My approach to teaching and tutoring include having the student develop and practice their thinking skills by working with them to find answers rather than giving answers.
