About Mike
I am a late college graduate (38) that lived a lot of life before I landed in the classroom. In my experience, I have learned that we all are not the same and success looks different to everyone. My goal in life is to help people get better in the areas they struggle. I can do this while helping you to build confidence and learn that we all need a little help sometimes.

My approach to teaching is simple, if they don't enjoy it, they will not learn it! I attempt to create a love for learning using personal interest to the student when possible. I believe learning cannot take place without failing, and I build a culture of safety where questions can be asked in a non-judgmental environment. I will be hard on you sometimes, but never harsh. Let me help you learn in a way that works best for you and teach skills that can make a day in the classroom more enjoyable and easily managed.
