About Tasha
Hi There! My name is Tasha. I am a qualified foundation phase educator, with an undergraduate degree in Psychology & Philosophy. I also have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, both of these qualifications were obtained from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I also have a 120-hour TEFL certificate. I love teaching as it is a passion of mine but it's also in my blood as my mum was also a teacher with over 35 years experience! :) I like to get to know my students as I believe that each student is unique and learn and understand in their own way.

I use the student-centered as well as interactive methodology of teaching in my classroom. I believe that each student is unique and has their own way of learning. Understanding a student and being nurturing and supportive, letting them know that there is room for making mistakes because we can only learn from them and do better! Each child is special and different and should be encouraged to be their best self. I would prefer to teach the little ones from grades R to 3. However, from my TEFL experience, I have the ability to teach adults as well.
