About Travis
Musically trained since the age of 11 and sharpened my musical skills with extra lessons and furthered my studies in music by obtaining my BMus degree. I have been tutoring privately during high school and university. I have experience in choral music as well as performed back-up and lead. I offer a whole range of music as a performer, teacher and in music business. You will not regret choosing a passionate teacher that wants to see their learners pursue and reach higher heights in their music journey.

I believe in a holistic approach when it comes to teaching music since it involves your mind, emotions and physical movements. I intentionally took psychology classes to better and make my teaching techniques unique.
For example the simple S. T. O. P method : Stop, Think, observe and practice.
Music and emotions are very close so it is important to invest yourself emotionally in the music to take your performances to the next level. Allowing your audience not to just hear your music but feel it too.
The lessons will have a mix of theory to better understand and use of terms with practical warm-ups, breaking up the piece to get to know it and at the end putting it all together with emotion to create a musical experience, everytime you play or sing.
My lessons are not just teaching but getting involved too.
