I don't want to "fix" an essay, give answers to literary criticism questions, or do the bare minimum to help you pass an assignment. My goal is to help you achieve your goals. I generally rely on a basic Socratic teaching style, though I'm adaptable to the needs of different learners. Lesson plans vary based on students and time spent . . . the longer I work with you, the better I'll be able to develop lesson plans suited to your needs.
I'm an empathetic tutor who is passionate helping people become better readers and writers. That's really it. I care more about helping people accomplish their ELA accademic goals than anything else I've done in my career as a writer.
I tutor traditional, non-traditional, ELS speakers, and learning challenged students from high school through graduate school. This includes college and professional application essays and correspondance.
