About Waqas
Hello! I’m Waqas Ayub, an experienced online coding and STEM instructor with a background in Electrical Engineering and postgraduate research in IT.
I have several years of experience teaching children and teenagers online and enjoy making technical concepts simple, practical, and enjoyable. I teach students through interactive lessons and hands-on projects, helping them develop not only coding skills but also logical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and confidence.
My teaching experience includes Python, Scratch, C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, databases, and beginner electronics/Arduino. I have worked with students at different skill levels, from complete beginners to learners who want to develop their programming abilities further.
I am patient, friendly, and supportive, and I adapt my teaching style to each student's age, interests, and learning pace. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes, and discovering solutions themselves.
Whether your child is taking their first steps into coding or wants to build more advanced projects, I’ll help them learn step by step while making the lessons engaging and rewarding.

I believe children learn coding best by building, experimenting, and solving problems, rather than simply memorising syntax. I use a friendly, patient, and project-based approach, adapting each lesson to the student's age, level, interests, and learning pace.
My lessons typically follow this structure: explain → demonstrate → practice → build → challenge → review. I ask questions throughout the lesson to check understanding and encourage independent thinking. I also provide constructive feedback and help students learn from mistakes.
A typical lesson is 45–60 minutes, depending on the student's age and requirements.
I have a background in Electrical Engineering and postgraduate research in IT, along with several years of experience teaching programming to school-age students online. I have taught Python, C++, Scratch, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, databases, and block-based programming, as well as STEM and beginner electronics concepts.
My lessons are suitable for children and teenagers from approximately 8–17 years old, from complete beginners to students who want to develop their programming skills through practical projects.
