About Gilbert

I graduated from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (electrical engineering) since 2011 and I hold an Honors degree from the University of South Africa. I have lectured since 2014 in Power Electronics 3 and Engineering Mathematics 1 & 2 at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

About the lesson

Lessons are structured in a simple manner. I would like to simplify a complex concept. Structuring is very important in Mathematics. It is like building blocks where every block is important. I will go through a few examples with different levels of complexity.

Gilbert has taught my child for almost a full year in 2021. The way he engages with my son is very interesting because he is not annoyed to pay attention to the question and respond with an appropriate answer. He is good especially with one on one sessions as my son prefers it.
I can confirm that my son improved his interest and understanding of Mathematics with good results. Keep it up Gilbert.

Gilbert is a super prof de lux: he is very good at math and physics; he knows how to teach and how to tutor; he has worked with hundreds of students at higher education level and school level; he has written his own notes on various topics; and, most important, he knows how to "put it across" to students. That is why I have no doubt to recommend Gilbert as a Superprof to help students.
