About Harry
Hi, my names Harry,
I am a Maths tutor based in Exeter,
I’m currently studying for my HNC electrical engineering and have achieved an A in A level Mathematics. Achieving AAB overall in Maths Biology, and History.
I have previously worked with a handful of students tutoring them in GCSE foundation level maths, as well as to improve their overall confidence in mathematics. I have full clean DBS background check and basic first aid.

During sessions I will help students focus on key mathematical skills as well as strategies that can be used to best tackle a question. By using these strategies, we can help focus in on what the questions are asking of us and how to achieve some marks even if we cannot answer the question in full. Making the prospect of sitting the paper less daunting.
These sessions will work well alongside student’s maths lessons, and I can go over topics currently being studied providing extra support and help which students may not be able to get in a normal classroom size.
The sessions will depend on the student’s specific needs, and through discussion we will help shape the lessons specific to the student’s requirements.
As well as maths tutoring, I have previous experience coaching and teaching to children of all ages from 6 to 16. I also a full clean DBS background check and basic first aid.
For lessons taking place at students homes I will be wearing a face mask and sanitising hands, both me and the student will use their own equipment, adhering to the goverment COVID guidlines.
