About Katherine
I have experience teaching grades 2, 4 and 5 in the state of Missouri and in the countries of Oman and Madagascar where I worked in American International Schools. For the last five years, I have been a school counselor for grades K-12 in Madagascar and I recently moved back to the United States. I have a bachelor's in elementary education and a master's in international counseling. I am comfortable working with all age groups and I am extremely patient. I truly love learning and helping others!

I was an elementary educator for 9 years and a K-12 school counselor for 5 years. I am very approachable and can come up with creative ways to help for those who feel stuck or having a difficult time learning. My strong areas are in reading and writing, but I can also help people with math up to the grade 6 level. I am comfortable working with all age groups and genders. My lessons will be custom made depending on the age of the student and the goal(s).
