I typically start by getting to know the student, and then evaluating their reading and writing abilities. After evaluating the student, I am able to create individualized lessons catered to their abilities, interests, and needs. I love to have fun, so I incorporate hands-on and interactive activities as much as possible! Throughout tutoring I complete ongoing assessments to determine when students meet their goals. I will also communicate this information to you, so that you remain aware of their progress. I teach 1st Grade, and I have tutored students in 3rd-5th Grade as well.
