About Shannon

I am a teacher of 12 years and mother who sees the need for students to work on academic goals outside of the school day. I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and a certificate in school administration. I thrive on change and personal growth so I have taught nearly every grade level at the elementary level. I am positive and empowering during sessions to motivate your child and make learning as engaging and fun as possible. Every child should feel excited and motivated to learn!

About the lesson

With 12 years of experience as an elementary school teacher, I’ve worked with students across all elementary grade levels and subjects, including those needing:
-special education support
-learning recovery
-enrichment opportunities
-English language learning.

I tailor each session to meet individual needs—whether it’s building foundational skills, challenging advanced learners, or supporting language development—always creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. I'm also willing to work alongside your child's teacher at school to establish learning goals and monitor progress. Let’s help your child thrive and gain confidence in their learning journey!
