About Celina
I am a dedicated and patient educator with real classroom experience supporting diverse learners. I am currently completing my master’s degree in education, which allows me to apply current research-based strategies directly into my tutoring practice. I have professional experience teaching, tutoring, and planning lessons for elementary students. I create a positive, structured, and encouraging learning environment where students feel safe to try, make mistakes, and grow. As a current elementary teacher and graduate student in education, I use a patient, supportive, and structured approach focused on building confidence and foundational skills. I begin by assessing where each student is academically, then create personalized lessons that target reading fluency, comprehension, writing organization, or math problem-solving. I integrate visuals, repetition, modeling, and guided practice. My sessions are interactive and skill-based, with clear goals. My lessons are ideal for K-5 students who need consistent support, extra practice, or enrichment.
