About Amalia
Let me start by stating “I begin cooking with passion and finish it with love and care.” My life has revolved around the kitchen since I was nine years old, and now that interest is still here and has undoubtedly shaped my career as a cook. I was a world traveler sampling the delicious food by other food lovers, and as a result, I have authored a recipe book entitled “When I am Not Singing, I Am Cooking.” I am a graduate of a Culinary Program, employed as a Line Cook in one company and a Chef in another company.

The first step for me to do is to learn who my would-be students are. My goal is to deliver a tailored, interactive and personalized approach by teaching the basic cooking techniques such as knife skills, the different cooking methods, the art of blending classic and contemporary culinary approach in cooking, the benefits of innovative kitchen tools and its uses and some alternatives that will solve the problem when the ingredients are not available on hand.
