About Phillip

Hello, I'm Phillip, your dedicated online English tutor. I hold a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification and am a native English speaker. While I may not have formal teaching experience, I've had the privilege of coaching basketball and baseball in the past. Additionally, I volunteered as an English teacher in Thailand, working with kids ages 3-16, which provided valuable insights into effective communication and engaging young learners. My passion for teaching English is driven by my love for kids and my desire to pursue my passion for travel. I believe language is a powerful tool that opens doors to new opportunities and connections. My tutoring services are designed for learners of all ages and backgrounds, whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced student. I understand the importance of accommodating different schedules and time zones, and I'm committed to being flexible with my availability. As a parent of three children, ages 8, 6, and 3, I recognize the unique needs of young learners. This experience informs my approach to teaching, allowing me to connect with students on a personal level. I believe in building personal connections with my students to create a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for learning. Ultimately, I'm excited to be part of your language learning journey. Together, we'll work towards your English language goals, making the process enriching and enjoyable. Let's embark on this adventure and achieve success together!
