About Martin
I’m a Gold Seal Certified Flight Instructor and the Assistant Chief Flight Instructor at a Part 141 flight school in Tallahassee, Florida. With over 1,500 hours of flight instruction and an outstanding first-time pass rate, I’ve helped students earn their certificates and ratings while developing the knowledge and confidence to become safe, proficient pilots.
As a CFI, CFII, and MEI, I provide personalized online tutoring for Private, Instrument, Commercial, Multi-Engine, CFI, CFII, and MEI applicants. Whether you’re preparing for a checkride, oral exam, FAA knowledge test, or need help with regulations, weather, aerodynamics, navigation, aircraft systems, or lesson planning, I tailor each session to your learning style and goals.
My teaching style focuses on simplifying complex aviation concepts into practical, easy-to-understand lessons that build confidence and long-term understanding—not just memorization. My goal is to help you succeed on your exam and become a safer, more confident pilot.
Outside of aviation, I enjoy reading fantasy novels and comics, watching movies, listening to audiobooks, and cooking. I believe learning should be engaging and enjoyable, and I strive to bring that same approach to every lesson.

My goal is to help you complete your flight training as efficiently as possible while minimizing unnecessary training costs. Every lesson is personalized to your experience level, learning style, and goals, ensuring you get the most value from our time together.
We’ll begin by reviewing the applicable Airman Certification Standards (ACS) so you understand exactly what the FAA expects for your certificate or rating. From there, we’ll build a structured study plan that covers every required subject or focuses on the areas where you need the most improvement.
I provide clear, practical instruction for FAA regulations, aerodynamics, weather, navigation, aircraft systems, performance, lesson planning, endorsements, and checkride preparation. My goal is to simplify complex topics, help you understand the “why” behind aviation concepts, and teach you how to apply that knowledge—not just memorize answers. Whether you’re preparing for a Private, Instrument, Commercial, Multi-Engine, CFI, CFII, or MEI checkride, an FAA knowledge test, or simply want to strengthen your understanding, I’ll help you become a safer, more knowledgeable, and more confident pilot.
