About Emma
I’m a qualified primary school teacher with experience teaching both mainstream classes and English as an additional language. I’ve worked with children aged 4 to 12, supporting a wide range of learning needs and helping each child grow in confidence and ability. I’m known for my calm and gentle approach. I take time to get to know each child individually—their interests, strengths, and challenges—so I can tailor lessons that truly resonate with them. My sessions are structured yet flexible, combining clear learning goals with engaging activities that make children feel safe, supported, and motivated. Whether you need help catching up, building confidence, or extending your learning, I provide a nurturing environment where you can thrive!

I offer engaging, personalised tutoring sessions designed to support primary school children aged 4 to 12. My approach is rooted in patience, encouragement, and adaptability—ensuring each child feels confident and supported in their learning journey.
I use a blend of structured teaching and playful, interactive activities to make learning both effective and enjoyable. I focus on building strong foundational skills in literacy and numeracy, while also nurturing curiosity and independent thinking.
Typical lessons run for 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the child’s age, attention span, and learning goals. I offer flexibility to suit family schedules and can adjust session length as needed.
I am a qualified primary school teacher with experience teaching both mainstream classes and English as an additional language. Over the years, I’ve worked with children from diverse backgrounds and age groups, helping them thrive academically and socially.
My tutoring is ideal for children from Junior Infants to 6th Class, students who need extra support in English, Maths, or general literacy, learners of English as an additional language, and children who benefit from individualised attention and a confidence boost.
