About Layla
I am a media studies and journalism student at Eastern Michigan. I am a music review writer for Eastern's paper and was a section editor in high school. Through HS, I got All A's every year and a 1300 SAT score. My mom is an English teacher and passed down her skilled writing abilities to me, which I have been using and teaching for years now.

My teaching method is usually to show the student how to complete their task first. Then, have them attempt to do it on their own. With writing, I like to have them do their assignment to the best of their ability first, then I will go over any errors and changes with them. With each piece, they will progress greatly.
