About Gemma
I have worked in the education field for over 10 years as a teaching assistant and teacher, and been a private tutor for over 5. I have specialist work in teaching children with SEN. My degree is in psychology which I feel is important when as I have knowledge of how to best teach individuals with different temperaments.

Break lessons down to its simplest form then build them back up. Understanding is key to getting the work done correctly. During phonics learning I use singing as a form of cementing the knowledge, giving them access to their sounds in an easy and fun way.
