About Reece
With over a decade of dedicated experience supporting students across English Literature and English Language curriculums, I bring passion and expertise to every tutoring session. My journey in education has been driven by a deep commitment to helping students unlock their potential in English, from building foundational reading skills in Key Stage 3 to mastering complex literary analysis at A Level. Currently working as a Librarian/Teacher at a Secondary School with students aged 11-15, I specialise in delivering personalised 1-1 and group sessions focused on English and Literacy development. This hands-on experience has given me invaluable insights into the specific challenges students face with different examination boards and curriculum requirements, allowing me to provide targeted support that delivers real results. My academic background includes a Master's Degree in History from the University of London (2021) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Hertfordshire (2014), which provides students with rich contextual understanding that brings literary texts to life. This interdisciplinary approach helps students appreciate the historical and cultural contexts that shape literature, making their analysis more sophisticated and engaging. I've successfully supported over 100 students across UK, US, and international curriculums, helping them achieve outstanding results in GCSE and A Level English examinations. My approach is particularly effective for neurodivergent students and those requiring SEND support, as I believe every student deserves to discover their unique voice through literature and language. Key Achievements: - Guided students to achieve top grades in GCSE and A Level - English Literature and Language - Supported university applications to prestigious institutions including Russell Group universities - Helped students develop critical thinking skills that extend beyond the classroom - Created inclusive learning environments that celebrate diverse perspectives and learning styles

Reece is very organized, speaks clearly and very helpful. Feeling so much better about how my year will go.
Reece has really helped me structure and plan my essays, and also has offered me valuable insight into the world of history and its study. He has had so many incredible suggestions regarding what historians to reference, include and cross analyse with each other. Really so grateful for the help.
My tutor was amazing he was very organized and really helped me focus in on the information that I needed help with but then also make it easy for me to understand and retain everything that we talked about.
Reece helped my son prepare for his AP World History exam. Reece was very personable and my son enjoyed Reece’s process and delivery of information. His way of teaching allowed my son to feel confident with test taking thus resulting in him passing the AP exam. Thank you Reece!
