About Amanda
Hi! I’m Amanda, and I’m passionate about English, literature, and the power of writing to help people express themselves. I love helping students discover their own voice while building the skills and confidence they need to succeed academically.
My approach is patient, encouraging, and personalized. I believe that every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand what works best for each person. Whether you’re struggling with an essay, analyzing a difficult piece of literature, working on grammar, or simply looking to become a stronger writer, I’m here to help.
I want my lessons to feel comfortable and collaborative rather than intimidating. My goal isn’t just to help you finish an assignment—it’s to help you understand the material, develop your skills, and become a more confident writer and reader.

My lessons are personalized, engaging, and designed to help students become stronger, more confident readers and writers. I focus on English literature, essay writing, creative writing, grammar, reading comprehension, and critical thinking.
Rather than simply memorizing rules, I want students to understand how and why something works. We can work together on analyzing literature, developing ideas, organizing and strengthening essays, improving writing style, or finding a student’s own unique voice.
I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs, learning style, and goals. Whether you need help with a specific assignment, want to improve your overall writing skills, or simply want to develop a deeper appreciation for literature, I aim to make lessons supportive, interesting, and rewarding.
