About Gowry
Hi! I’m Gowry. I bring a strong, structured background in higher education (pursuing my MBA after completing my B.Com in International Finance & Accounting and clearing 9 ACCA papers) alongside hands-on experience in student support. Having worked directly as classroom administrative support at Carmel School Kuwait, I understand how students learn best, where they tend to hit roadblocks, and how important it is to build their confidence early on. I don't believe in dry lectures - what you need is patience, clear structure, and an authentic approach. Seeing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a difficult grammar rule or solves a tricky exam question is what makes teaching so rewarding for me.

My Approach: Simple, Structured & Practical
I believe learning should be straightforward, interactive, and stress-free. My teaching approach combines logical structure with clear, simple explanations. Instead of relying on passive lectures or plain memorization, I break complex topics into clear, bite-sized steps so concepts actually click.
Typical Class Structure (60 Minutes):
1. Warm-Up (5–10 mins): A quick review of previous topics to build momentum.
2. Core Concept (15 mins): Simple, step-by-step breakdown of the day's main topic.
3. Guided Practice (20 mins): Interactive problem-solving together to build confidence.
4. Solo Practice (10 mins): A quick task to test independent understanding.
5. Wrap-Up & Feedback (5 mins): Summary of progress and clear next steps.
Why Do Students Succeed in My Classes?
1. Clear Explanations: Complex grammar and exam questions broken down into easy logic.
2. Active Learning: Students practice and engage throughout the session—no boring lectures!
3. Exam Techniques: Practical tips for time management, comprehension, and stress-free testing.
4. Tailored Pace: Lessons adapted specifically for Class 1 to Class 9 levels.
