As a tutor, I focus on building strong foundational understanding by breaking down complex STEM concepts into manageable, logical steps. I use real-world examples, visual aids, and active problem-solving to make learning engaging and relevant. My goal is not just to help students memorize formulas but to truly understand the "why" behind each concept.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of prior material or homework, followed by a short explanation of the new topic using examples. Then, we work through practice problems together, gradually increasing difficulty. I encourage questions throughout and always check for understanding before moving on.
I have taught middle school to high school students for math, physics, chemistry, or general science. I can also support first-year university students in introductory STEM courses.
