About Trigg
Hi there! My name is Trigg - I am a final-year Engineering PhD researcher at the University of Warwick. My PhD is focused around using innovative methods to stabilise bridges and other key infrastructure.
I graduated from the University of Warwick with a 1st Class MEng in Civil Engineering where I earned the Head of School Award for highest academic attainment. I have since gone on to earn several other awards and scholarships through my PhD.
I've been teaching and supervising students throughout my PhD, and have come to really enjoy supporting each pupil with a focus on open discussion, helping my students to develop a passion and expertise for each subject.
I am currently training to be an airline pilot, so keep an eye out for me in the skies!

I offer private tutoring in Maths (inc. Further), Physics, and Engineering for GCSE, A-Level, and University students. I have been tutoring STEM for over 6 years and am currently finishing my PhD in Engineering.
My tutees regularly score 90%+ in their exams after working with me. I like to take a student-led approach where we work together to identify strengths and then fill any gaps. I particularly focus on breaking tricky topics into small, manageable steps.
Alongside my experience in exam and coursework marking, I use a research-backed approach which focuses on deep subject learning and development, rather than recall, with a focus on giving my pupils the skills for a lifetime of independent learning.
My lessons are designed for pupils aged 11 and up, with each session lasting one hour.

After seeing an advert online, we asked Trigg for some tutoring for my daughter in the months leading up to her GCSE maths exam. Trigg is a fantastic tutor for A Level Maths and Physics.
